DOG FOULING PREVENTION SCHEME - APPEAL

"Thank you so much for such a thoughtful and generous service".  
These comments were made recently by several dog-walkers enjoying a Sunday stroll along the Trippet.  This service of course comes at a price.

For many years now The Bosham Association has helped with the reduction of dog mess on our streets and footpaths. Thanks to your essential donations we have been able to provide bags and dispensers at key locations throughout the village.

A band of helpers keep the dispensers full and the District Council maintains and empties the associated bins. 

This combined effort has enabled a noticeable improvement in the cleanliness of our environment and for the sake of all residents and visitors we strongly wish to continue this service.

The cost of providing the bags is approximately £1000 per year and much of this is met by either members adding a little extra to their annual membership subscription or by the generosity of a small number of donors who wish to remain anonymous. We offer our sincere thanks to all these kind people as they enable the continuation of a service that we would be unable to pay for out of subscription income
